Annual Lavallette Breast Cancer Walk draws more than 1,000 participants, a new record

LAVALLETTE — Threatening rain could not discourage more than 1,000 people from participating in the annual Breast Cancer Walk, here, on Sunday — in fact, the walk saw the largest turnout in the event’s seven-year history.
